Here at Ace Trainers we provide both in-house and accredited forklift instructor training. We can perform these courses either on company sites or at our training centre based in Basingstoke.
This training teaches how to train delegates how to drive different types of forklift trucks such as the counterbalance forklift, reach truck, telescopic handlers etc and even covers other courses including manual handling, crane training and even more. Once you have completed the instructor course you can train any Material Handling Equipment MHE related course.
This is an 8-day course provided through the accrediting body ‘BRITTOPs’. During the course, the delegate is taught how to put on both theoretical and practical lessons and is concluded in a testing process which focuses on all skills learnt over the 8 days.
Upon completion of the In-House instructor course, the newly qualified instructor will be able to perform in-house training at their company site. An In-House instructor is not legally covered nor allowed to perform off-site training elsewhere.
If you are looking to become a National Instructor and provide training across the UK & Northern Ireland for different companies, the National Instructor course will be more suited. Upon completion this allows the newly qualified instructor to perform forklift training and other courses for any company across the UK & Northern Ireland. This is because a national instructor course is slightly different to an in-house instructor course and involves more.
