What exactly is an angle grinder? An angle grinder is a type of work equipment known as an abrasive wheel. They are used for cutting or grinding down various materials and come in various sizes however the most common sizes are 4.5inches and 9inches, meaning they use abrasive wheel discs of this size in diameter.
Angle grinders are also available to use through different types of power. There are electric ones, which is the most common type, available in 110v or 240v, also battery-operated types. Also available are air powered angle grinders (pneumatic). Which type and size of angle grinder you need depends on the job you need to do and the environment you will be using it in.
