Abrasive wheels are very commonly used in industry today, there are many different types, from disc cutters to angle grinders to bench grinders. Abrasive Wheels are very dangerous when used in an unsafe manner or used by and untrained operator. As an example, damaged abrasive wheels account for a large amount of wheel breaks. The sudden break of an abrasive wheel can lead to serious life changing injuries and even in some cases death. For this reason alone, you can see why safety training is vital. Our courses are conducted either in our training centre in Basingstoke or on company premises.
