Here at Ace Trainers, we train a wide variety of different types of Material Handling Equipment. We also provide other types of training that are relevant to certain trades to ensure safety. One of the ways we can provide this training is by visiting company sites, therefore using the specific piece of equipment that will normally be used in an average working day to recreate a more familiar experience of what is required when working with their own workplace Material Handling Equipment.
Our On-Site training is only limited to the equipment you have available! We can train a wide range of forklift vehicles such as the Counterbalance, Pivot-Steer/Flexi Trucks, Reach Trucks, Telescopic Handlers, Side Loaders, Lorry Mounted Cranes, Vehicle Mounted Forklifts (Moffetts’s), Overhead Cranes/Jib Cranes, and many more trucks even including order pickers, manual and electric pallet trucks! Our list extends even further and it is recommended to visit our website at www.acetrainers.co.uk to explore our full range of training courses that we provide.
During our On-Site Training Courses, we offer the best experience possible to ensure maximum learning capabilities. This includes a full theory session, learning in detail about what is required of operators regarding Health & Safety, as well as general operational and safety rules to prevent accidents and damage occurring. This is followed by numerous practical sessions throughout the duration of the course to ensure delegates are trained to that they are confident, competent, and safe during the use of Material Handling Equipment. Each segment of training is recapped with a testing procedure to ensure the delegates understanding, however each individual will receive enough training and assistance in order to be aware of what is needed to be understood to become a good MHE Operator.

What is required from companies for Ace to provide Material Handling Equipment On-Site?
Our instructors will require suitable areas for both the Theory and Practical elements of training.
Theory:
- A room large enough to fit both the delegates and the instructor, ensuring social distancing is followed (2m separation).
- Electricity plugs to enable the instructor to connect their laptop to present PowerPoints/training material.
- Ideally a TV/Projector/Monitor. Alternatively, an area for our instructors to display their own projectors onto i.e. a wall.
Practical:
- The Specific piece of Material Handling Equipment that training is to be provided on.
- An area to complete the practical training in, ideally free from other people (to reduce risk).
- An open area for testing to commence in. Alternatively, racking/aisle systems can be used to test delegates upon the instructor’s review.
- PPE for the delegates, to ensure their own safety. Specifically including Work Gloves, Hi-Vis, Safety Boots and Battery PPE.
