Here at ace trainers we provide training for Vehicle Mounted Forklifts (commonly known as “moffett’s”) at your company site. Depending on experience, we can provide Novice, Experienced, Refresher or Conversion courses. It is recommended to contact us if you have enquiries about which course you would be better suited on.
Vehicle Mounted Forklifts are extremely useful for situations where industrial forklifts are not available on company sites, such as farms/event sites. Be aware, moffett’s have quite different characteristics compared to generic forklifts such as the Counterbalance, therefore it is important you have received separate training for the specific truck you intend to operate. Operating without training could result in a health and safety breach, and more importantly an accident.
During our Moffett courses, we teach the delegates both the Practical and Theoretical side of training. This involves learning about Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant provisions, the operator’s safety code, and specific skills needed in order to perform tasks whilst operating on a lorry mounted forklift in order to keep anyone working with or around moffett’s, safe.
